Galeria Vertice was founded in 1985 in Guadalajara, Mexico; however, its actual structure began in 1977. There were three primary objectives: dissemination, promotion and commercialization of Latin American art (sculpture, painting, and graphic contemporary art) and recently to include European, North American, and Canadian artists.

Galería Vértice Puerto Vallarta, which is located in the charming "Romantic Zone" of Puerto Vallarta, opened its doors on November 16, 2007, and has quickly become an integral part of the thriving local art scene.
