Yesika Felix Montoya
Yesika Felix Montoya is originally from Mexico City, where she studied Visual Arts at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas, in the Programa de Alta Exigencia Académica (PAEA) in La Academia de San Carlos, ENAP/ UNAM.
She lives and works in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, where she founded the photography workshop “Caja Negra” or “Black Box” in 2003. She is also a member of a collective called “La Malagua”
Yesika also teaches art at the Preparatoria Regional de Puerto Vallarta, of the Universidad de Guadalajara.
She has participated in more than 30 collective exhibitions in Mexico City, D.F.;
Mazatlán, Sinaloa; Taxco, Guerrero; Guanajuato; Chicago Illinois; Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Some of her individual exhibitions include:

“Réquiem”, Sala Berenice Starr, Festival de las Artes de Puerto Vallarta, 2004
“Toys”, Festival Fotoseptiembre 2005. Puerto Vallarta.
