Laura Ortiz was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and due to the influence of British culture, has adventured into the limitless world of abstract art. In this media she is able to experience the maximum intensity of her feelings, exuding strength and passion while exploring new dimensions.
As part of her artistic formation, she completed a Masters Degree in Didactic Arts at the Universidad de Guadalajara, a Diploma Course in ceramics at the Universidad de Guadalajara, courses in traditional and modern European art at the University of Vienna among others; which have played an important role in both her life and her teaching, which reflect the same passion as her artistic production.
Among her recent exhibitions are:
